Identity documents for rentals: When you rent from a rental shop that requires verification, you may photograph your ID card or passport to attach to that rental. The photo is stored temporarily, visible only to you and the shop you rented from, and is automatically and permanently deleted within 14 days after the rental ends

When you use related features, the app may request access to:

Videos or photos you record or select will be stored on your device and shared to external platforms (e.g. TikTok) only when you choose to share them. We do not automatically store or upload your videos/photos to our servers.

TripDeDee uses YouTube API Services in two ways: (1) any user can connect their own YouTube channel in AI Studio (tripdedee.com/feed/studio and the TripDeDee app) to upload videos they made in AI Studio as Shorts to their own channel, and (2) platform administrators publish travel content (Reels/Shorts) to TripDeDee's own YouTube channel via our Auto-Schedule and Autopilot systems.

Connecting your own YouTube channel in AI Studio

You tap "Connect YouTube" yourself in AI Studio → ⚙️ Settings and grant access on Google's consent screen. We request only two permissions, and we upload only when you tap Upload, schedule a time, or turn on automatic uploads yourself. We never delete, edit, like or comment on any video on your channel.

Read channel info and stats (youtube.readonly): channel title, ID and thumbnail to show which channel is connected, and the view, like and comment counts of videos uploaded through AI Studio only, shown in your list. We do not read comment text or any other video on your channel.

TripDeDee's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the data only to provide the uploads and stats you asked for, and we will NOT use the information received to:

When you disconnect in AI Studio we delete the token immediately; if you revoke on Google's side we delete the now-invalid token the next time we try to use it, and in any case within 7 days. Videos already uploaded remain on your YouTube channel (manageable via YouTube Studio). To delete your upload history, remove items in your post list or contact us using the details in section 10.

In AI Studio (tripdedee.com/feed/studio and the TripDeDee app) you can connect your Facebook account to publish videos you made in AI Studio as Reels on Pages you manage. We only post when you tap Post, schedule a time, or turn on automatic posting yourself, and we never post, like or comment on any other Page.

Disconnecting and Data Deletion

The Family Tracking feature in the TripDeDee app lets members of a family group (or close friends) share their realtime location with each other temporarily — for example while traveling, sightseeing, or meeting up — designed on a Privacy-First principle.

Limited recipients: Your location is shared only with members of family groups you create or join yourself (joined via an invite code) — never with third parties or public groups.

Background sharing: If you enable "Always-on location sharing" (in Group Settings) and grant "Always" location permission, your location continues to be shared even when the app is closed or you switch apps, so family can follow you while travelling. You can turn this off at any time in Group Settings; if off, location is shared only while the app is open.

Self-renewing session: Once you start sharing, it continues until you stop it yourself. If no location is sent for over 30 days, the session is closed and deleted automatically.

Motion data (accelerometer) — collected and processed on your device only, and only when you enable "Auto crash detection". Raw sensor data never leaves your device.

When you tap SOS, the app sends an alert with your current location to every member of the group and starts sharing your location. This feature notifies your family/friends — it is not an official emergency service. In a real emergency, contact local emergency services (191 / 1669 in Thailand).

How to Stop Sharing or Leave/Delete a Group
- กดปุ่ม "หยุดแชร์" ในหน้าครอบครัวเมื่อใดก็ได้ — การส่งตำแหน่งจะหยุดทันที (ทั้ง foreground และ background)
Tap "Stop sharing" in the Family screen anytime — location sending stops immediately (both foreground and background).
